Neurocare BD is a healthcare platform for patients — book a specialist appointment, browse doctor profiles, view test results, and receive bilingual reminders. Doctors get a back office to manage availability, consultations, and follow-ups. We integrated SMS reminders and built the entire flow with privacy-first defaults.

The problem

Patients had to call to book appointments and re-call to confirm — a high-friction flow that lost 30% of leads. Doctors had no central place to see their day.

The approach

Laravel API + Next.js patient portal. Public doctor profiles with availability calendars, two-step booking with SMS confirmation, encrypted patient records, and a doctor dashboard for daily schedule.

The outcome

No-show rate cut in half via automated bilingual SMS reminders. Patient self-service handles 78% of appointment activity, freeing the front desk for in-clinic care.
